Jolly good - double sided tape isn't as secure IMO. Probably a pretty low volume tyre - 22 mm?
My usual cycling shades are safety glasses. Muffs are hanging on the tool wall.
Now that you mention it ...we're going to a loud gig in a couple of weeks, I should get some spares.
I've been caught like that - was yours sitting in the hot sun?
Two occurrences is two too many in my book, although there's not much you could have done in those instances - I'm just more comfortable using PPE because I know the potential for startlement and hearing damage (mine's already not great)
