Shimano shift lever ST-7S60 service manual?

I opened up my Shimano shift lever ST-7S60 and messed it up. Any one have a service manual? Thank you.

Google Shimano ST-7S60
found this

I don't know if that helps.

for what it's worth... that shifter is discontinues=d and no parts are available... your best bet is to find a used or NOS replacement if fixing it is not possible... Internal geared hub, correct?

Search: "Nexus 7sp Internal gear shifter" on ebay.. many twist grip options, and a few trigger shifters, came up.....

i don't think the Standard 7sp. Derailleur shifters will work, but someone here might know... derailleurs have some odd positions in the mid gears to deal with, so.... get the Internal Micro-shift trigger unit would be a safe bet.. as would be the twisters for internal geared hubs....

The ST-7S60 service manual continues

Huge appreciation to the 2 folks who replied so quickly and helpfully.
The Google link manual doesn’t have images of the inner workings, which is what I need. I hope to fix it rather than replace as it’s a very cool look for this Schwann cruiser. The search for a service manual continues….

Hi and thanks! Can you suggest an Internal Micro-shift trigger by brand and item number? Trying to find one on Amazon.

Microshift TN 70N... search on ebay to see it.. "microshift 7 sp internal gear trigger shifter" .. $25, including shipped.

...just checked Ama-Zone.. not seeing one. not a high volume sales item, i guess.

Unfortunately, Shimano rarely has documents that show the inner workings of their parts (gears, pawls, springs...). Many of these parts are preassembled units and not intended to be taken apart. The whole shift unit is replaced onto the handlebar bracket or brake lever (if applicable) upon failure.

If you search Shimano's tech doc site, the available docs are easily found but as mentioned above, is not always too useful.

Your best bet is, if you can find something on the web by someone else that has done & documented the disassembly of your shifter or a similar model.

Appreciated

Your responses are more than I ever expected, and I’m very appreciative. Thought it would be crickets but quite the pleasant surprise.

I’ve ordered a “NOS Shimano Nexus Shifter Lever Trigger ST-7S20 for 7 Speed Internal Hub” from eBay.
