What is a Breezer Style Dropout?

Could someone describe what a breezer style dropout is? I see the term from time to time and I can't figure out exactly what makes a dropout a breezer style dropout. Also, is it a good thing or bad?

You can see a picture of them here:

I once owned a Joe Breeze Lightning Mtn Bike that had the Breezer rear dropouts and at the same time owned a Joe Breeze Storm Mtn Bike that had standard Ritchey dropouts. Otherwise, the bikes had the same frame tubing (Tange Prestige).

I couldn't tell any difference in riding or handling. I think they are pretty to look at, but that's all the value there is to them.

The value is to the builder who's freed from having to roughly match their frame angles to the angles of the braze-in tab on a conventional dropout.
