Brake pad toe in tip

Perhaps this has been posted before to help with brake pad toe-in when setting up brakes. I use an o ring of appropriate thickness on the tail end of the pad while aligning and tightening the pads on the caliper arms. It seems to make it so I only need 2 hands vs 3. My apologies if this has been posted previously.

What the Doc said. It's tough getting that dime to stay in place.......

Or if you don't happen to keep O rings around, just tie a knot in a rubber band.

I've used rubber bands, matchbooks, lids from the boxes tubes come in, and the cardboard backing on the packaging the brake pads come in. Whatever is handy.
