Shimano bb5700 Bottom Bracket

Hey, looking for some help with this obscure problem. My old Kona Jake the Snake needs a new bottom bracket. The Shimano one in there now is labelled SM BB5700 BC 137-31, from around 2008 I think. All the replacements I can find online are labelled 137 x 24. Can anyone tell me whether this is compatible or what I should be looking for? Doesn't have to be OEM, this bike is now used used as an indoor trainer only.
Any help appreciated!
Clint

From Google-The Shimano SM-BB5700 is a 105-level, threaded external bottom bracket designed for Hollowtech II road cranksets.
The "BC 1.37 x 24" (or sometimes "137-31" in misread markings) signifies the English (BSA) standard, which is the most common threaded type

Thank you Bill. That is weird - the marking is very clear, not "misread", but I will try buying the standard and see how it goes.
Thanks, Clint

I would think mis stamped would make more sense.
