rebuilding Crossmax wheel with Chriss King hub, possible?
Would it be possible to rebuild a Mavic crossmax wheel with a Chris King hub? Crossmax rims have 24 holes but Chris King hubs come with 32 or 36 holes. Would that make it impossible, or with proper gaps between the holes can it be done?

Yes, they are overpriced. May be a DT 240s, or someting in that range will be a more reasonable choice.
About the compatibility, I think the spokes has to be changed as well, but I can't see how the nipples can be removed, or replaced with new ones. These are UST rims, and the nipples are hidden inside the rim, which can't be reached from inside. Well, it's just another problem (or may be not
).

Oh, another question
If the spokes, and nipples were perfectly compatible, would it be too weak to have gaps on the hub as DannoXYZ said above? Say, any rim which has less holes than the hub?

Those are straight pull spokes on the Crossmax. Not going to work unless you replace them with conventional spokes.
Sorry, but the whole idea is pretty half-baked. No sense in spending big money for Kings and overstressing the flanges by lacing them improperly. Warranty go bye bye and eventually so will the flanges, most likely. If you're going to do it, do it right.
