So I'm thinking of ordering this crank (http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/list2....S&Section=CRAT) and maybe some other stuff from an OBS in the UK. Has anyone in the US had any specific experience with ordering from these guys? Does anyone know how much import duties cost, ballpark?

The only place in the US to get this crank is Buisnesscycles, but it is about $40 more expensive. Maybe the import duties are high enough to make it not worthwhile?

Thanks!

Gday Mate.

I live in Australia and usually it is the United States that is the cheapest not the UK and certainly not here in Oz. What about postage costs? Certainly posting from the UK is going to be near $40US when you add in insurance, if not exceeding it if you want it any time in the next 3 months. What about going to the company and seeing if there is other outlets in the US to get these cranks? My experience with duties is sometimes you get hit with them and sometimes you don't. I would expect them though and be happily suprised if you don't get them, be warned though that it can add more time to you getting your item.

Good Luck!!

Cheers

Chris
