Rear hub problem.....
Right, I was changing my first spoke in the rear wheel and by mistake I dismanteled the hub, the fact is that when i fitted the hub the wheel was not the same, it is not spinning like before and i do not why.
I think that i put everything where they should be, but when doing it some grease that was inside the hub came out. If some one know what the problem is, let me know... Why did i open the hub when i just have to dismantle the cassette to fit the spoke? cos I thought that the nut that tight the hub was the one that thight the cassette, now i know which one is which.... |

Jeepers.
Unless you know how to do the following; --adjust a hub --true a wheel and unless you have the following tools; --cassette tool --cone wrench --17mm or adjustable wrench --spoke wrench TAKE IT TO A LBS |

I think you are getting too complicated for the OP's level of expertese. Apparently he doesn't know the difference between a lock nut and a lock ring. Quite a lot of study seems called for.

Yeah, you were right, the cones were too tight, i have sort it out, now the wheel spins easily......
Cheers |
I hope you tightened the lock nuts down on to the cones or your hub wont keep spinning nicely for long. I hope you got your spoke replaced without any problem. Whenever you want to fix something check this website:
