9-Speed Z9000 for Campy?

Hey. My wife's bike needs a new chains (one of the links is bent) and it is a campy 9-speed (veloce). I have a new chain that was originally bought for another bike, a KMC Z9000, which is a standard 9-speed chain. Will this work on the campy 9-speed? Are 9-speed chains interchangeable? I realize this may not be the best chain but she doesn't put a lot of wear on the bike anyway.

If it's intended for Shimano 9-speed use, it should certainly work on Campy. Shimano's own 9-speed chains actually work on 10-speed Campy.
