hello,
i just picked up a 99 F900 hard tail frame, i have a 97 or 98 cannondale frame that has a 1 1/8th head tube, this has a 1 1/2" head tube, they guy i got it from gave me a converter to 1 1/8th. but it looks like its not going to work?
anybody know about this? is it wise to run a converter? or should i get a new fork? i cant even find 1 1/2" forks.

so is cannondale the only one who uses 1 1/2"? are forks hard to find? and is it ok to use a converter? looks unsafe, but that could just be me.

btw, i had an m900 and it was the last cannondale hardtail with an 1 1/8" head tube.
1 1/2" is non-standard so i'd think your choices are using a c-dale headshock or the reducers.
good luck.
