Very quick disc rotor question
Hi guys, need everyone's help again.... I'm looking for some extra rotors for a new wheelset. My brakes are Avid Juicy Sevens and I'm currently using the stock 160mm polygon rotors on my existing wheels. On my second pair of wheels, I'm hoping to get lighter and better looking rotors. I'm considering the Hayes V6 6' rotors. First of all, will they be compatible with my existing brake system? Secondly, is the 6' size the same as the 160mm size? (6' seems to equal 152mm). Lastly, can anyone tell me if these V6 rotors are any good or could suggest other models? I mainly ride XC and I'm trying to lighten up my bike as much as possible. I think I'm turning into a weightweenie!!

Well I hope you're looking at 6" rotors and not 6' ones. ;) But yeah, some manufacturers call 160mm rotors 6" rotors. They're the same thing. The thickness of the rotor might not exactly match the Avids, but this isn't a problem in practice.
