security: locking skewers?
anyone know if anybody out there makes any kind of lockable quick-release skewers? I'm not seriously interested in getting one, but I'm just curious if anyone out there has devised a good solution to the problem of wheel theft.

Buy a good U-Bolt. Run it through the wheel. Run a cable through the other wheel.

If it isn't made I think it would work really well on seat bolts. I constantly catch my shorts on the skewer and would love a simple button to press to be able to open the skewer with a little more difficulty then pedaling.

I have use this one on my old MTB, I used an "adjustable Clamp", you place is on the chain stay and then loop it around the skewer handle then tigthen it, this will make it for a longer time to dismount your tire from your bike, this adjustable clamp you can buy it at any Home depot, as for the front tire insert it on the fork tighten your skewer see to it the skewers is pointed upward tehn loop the skewer handle then tighten the clam with the handle with a small srew driver
