How to disassemble "LOOK" pedals?

I have a pair I'd like to paint - something that would be much easier to accomplish if I could remove the plastic component that resides in the rear. Does anyone know if it is possible to take them apart? If so, what's the trick?

Thanks

There's lots of diff models of Look pedals. Some you can disassemble, some you can't. It'll have screws or allen bolts that you can get to, if it's possible to take it apart. Can you tell us the model, or post us some pictures?

There are no evident screws or allen fittings. What I thought might be 3mm fittings are round on the inside. Looks like they are one of the models that won't come apart. Just means more work to strip and repaint.

Thanks.

Well, then it just means being really careful. Not all that worth it for function, but perhaps to you for form...
