Young Mechanic
In my backyard there are a few acres of dirt jumps and some light downhilling. There is alot of traffic here cuz these jumps have been in many films and we've had the visitors from around the country and even a few from different countries. I'm wondering about whether or not i could make some extra money in the summer fixing peoples' bikes after they get messed up jumping and stuff. I can do pretty much everything except for the hardercore stuff like fork overhauls and stringing wheels. Should i pursue this idea? or should look at getting a job at the local shop or something first?

Both, if you can repair bikes as you explained, you should try get a job at the local shop, and repair peoples bikes after they have damaged them on your jumps. Good luck

sounds like a great idea, but I would learn how to rebuild forks and build wheels, as soon as you can. Those are going to be big money items lots of people are going to want.
