68mm or 73mm Bottom Bracket?
I'm reading this article on how to install external bottom bracket bearings. How can I tell if I have a 68mm or 73mm BB? Also, my FSA Gossamer didn't seen to have come with any spacers. Where can I get those? Would any ring that fits work? What is the diameter of the crankset axle?

The best way is to measure it. Failing that, understand that most road bikes are 68mm and most mountain bikes are 73mm.

What type of frame is it? If it's Italian it is mornally 73mm.....otherwise 68mm

English threaded road bikes are 68 mm and English threaded MTB can be 68 or 73 mm.
