2006 Specialized Shifting on a delay?
I have recently bought a new Specialized Roubaix Comp Triple. Unfortunately, I got into a little of a spill last week. I was riding down a steep incline on my drops and unexpectedly I had to stop suddenly. Even though I used my rear brake I was leaning forward so I just flipped right over. Although the bike seemed unharmed at the time of the accident, today I was riding and it was shifting on a massive delay, especially on the 2nd Crank. Is there any insight you guys have as to what I did, or what I could do to fix this problem?

That may not entirly be crash related. Since it is a new bike, your cables will stretch a bit and need to be adjusted by the LBS you bought it from. That being said, you could have bent the rear derailluer hanger, which is replacable.

take it to the shop where you bought it and have them give it a good look. odds are it is just the brake in adjustments, but after a crash it is a good idea to have someone look at it.

Sounds like your rear derailer cable housing could be pinched/kinked. How do you like the Robaix Comp Triple? I have an Allez Comp Triple and have never used the small chainring....so I am wondering if the "triple" was worth the extra weight/cost.
Good Luck!

I got my Litespeed triple equipped. I lived at the base of some mountains and did mountain centuries. I used it all the time. I moved east about 10 months ago and it hasn't been on the small ring once since I moved.
