Ti BB shell question
Do I have to use Teflon tapes when I install a BB on a Ti frame? I'm going to use Ti prep, but I'm not sure if I have to use Teflon tapes.

Teflon tape by itself is also fine. You don't need both.

In the end, as long as you (at least) use grease, you should be OK. Grease, teflon tape, Ti prep - they all will do the job. I have found that the worst problem I've had with Ti frames is the stupid bottle cage bolts. I won't use anything but Ti prep (or a copper based anti-seize). Even with grease, I have been able to feel those galling. With Ti, if you feel any galling or unreasonable resistance you need to stop right away. If it galls and locks up you will have a hell of a time getting (whatever it is) it unstuck. The RD bolt is another good place for anti-seize.
