What trigger shifter are compatable with Sram?

SRAM X.7 comes in 8-speed and should do what you want. I'd want to see one before I committed myself to buy one, the shift levers look a little bit funky to me compared to Shimano.
The only other alternative that I know of would be to get a Shimano rear derailleur so that you could use a Shimano shifter set.

the 3.0 is a 1:1 ratio mech so any sram 6 speed shifter APART from those listed here will work. (those listed in that link are 2:1 ratio and wont work)
