campy 8 speed cassett
Where can I get one of these. My LBS does not cary older Campy and Probikekit is not carying 12-21 or 13-21. in 8 speed or in Miche versions. I want a flat lander racing 12-21 or close. I currently have a Miche campy compatable 13-26. The jumps are a bit big for racing. Its good for the mountains and shifts very well.
Can I get a Miche 9 speed and use the spacers off my 8 speed and remove a gear to make it work?
PS first posted in road in error.

I don't know anything about Miche cassettes, even though I have a 13-26 campy one like you do, but your plan sounds like it would work just fine. There might be a tiny problem if the cogs themselves are significantly narrower than the 8 speed cogs, since the overall cassette needs to be the same width. Just make sure the new cogs are for pre-2001 campy. In 2001, campy hubs got a new spline pattern and backward compatability was lost.
There's always eBay.
