Tire size range for Cannondale Silk Path 700
I have a 1999 Cannondale Silk Path 700. The current tire size is 37-622, which translates to 700-37, I believe.
Can I use 700x25 or 700x28 on the same rims? I'm asking because as an over 50 Clydesdale I need a high psi tire so I don't flatten out the rear tire.
The panaracers have tires that go up to 115 psi in 700x25. I can't seem to find a high psi tire in the 700x37 size.

Larger tires don't need (and can't tolerate) very high pressure to avoid pinch flats as their larger air chambers can absorb hard hits without bottoming.
If you want to use smaller, higher pressure tires, their advantages are lower weight and less rolling resistance, not better flat resistance. And yes, you can use 700x25 or 700x28 tires on your existing rims.
