Can I upgrade my rotor size?
I have a '05 Kona Scrap and I wanna upgrade my brake rotor size. I think they are 6" right now, i want to upgrade to 8". Is it possible to do this?

Upsizing the front is fairly simple but you'll need an adapter for your caliper.
For the rear take a good look at the clearance between your disc and your chainstay. Do you have room for another inch of disc radius? If you do, then I'd guess that another caliper adapter will do it for you.

I am curious: is there a demonstrable braking improvement by changing the rotor size from 6" to 8"?

If its not a thru axle, you may have problems going to an 8", it seems the 8" brackets were designed with thru axle forks in mind as I recall.
