Down tube cable stop adapter question

Hello,
was just wondering whether anybody has tried Shimano down tube cable stop adjusters with Campagnolo cables; I know how both firms like to have slightly different standards!

Also, Shimano ones are more readily available. And there is no shame in having one Shimano component on the bike
