What does LL113 mean on a BB?

I was planning on buying a set of Shimano FC-M440 Cranks, and it says I need a LL113 BB for a 50mm chain line. What does the LL mean in that? Here is the chart http://bike.shimano.com/publish/cont...inline.pdf.pdf

Thanks a BUNCH!

it means your spindle needs to be 113 mm in length

Also, the LL's are the cheapies. You might want to scoot up to a UN-52 version, which will roll smoother and may last you a lot longer too.

OK. Thanks guys! That was the only one I saw with the LL, so I was wondering if it was some wierd BB or something. I was just making sure that any 113 would work.

Thanks again!

Hey JJXJ, I notice you live in Alaska and I can imagine there isn't a mega-metropolis with 25 bicycle shops near your house (I'm only assuming here)....

So, I just wanted to recommend that you pick up some professional calipers if you didn't already have one. A great boon to home mechanicy who need to order parts online that need to be exact to the nearest half millimeter. They only cost about 25 bucks.

I love mine!

Hey man! Yeah I've got a dial caliper. However, it doesn't go quite high enough. I've been planning on ordering a new one, so thanks for the reminder!

Later!

Justin
