When you want contentful answers, it's usually best to post to the mech forum directly. I find the road forum is *usually* much more of a "hooray for this" and "I feel your pain" sort of online community.

Edit: in this case, people who posted to your thread in the road forum (half of whom were people who post in the mech forum anyway) gave you mostly good responses.
