I'm planning to upgrade my crankset.

I've noticed some listings on eBay are called "9-speed triple" or "10-speed triple"

Is there a difference in cranksets used for a 9 speed or a 10 speed cassette or is this ignorance on the listers' part?

There are differences but generally they are cross-compatible.
