700x35c tires: which size tube???

I have a 2003 Fuji Supreme with 700x35c Kenda K-935 tires. I think i've figured out that 700x35c means 700mm diameter and 35mm width but I dont have the bike available for me to go measure right this second. Anyway I have a flat rear tire and I need to buy a new tube. What size tube do I buy? The local hardware store only has tubes that are sized in inches e.g. 24" or 26".

You need a tube that is marked 700x35 or 700x28-35 or something like that. The ahrdware store is usually no place to buy tubes. Even if they are the right size, how long have they been sitting there, dry-rotting? Go to your Local Bike SHop (LBS in forum-speak).

Look for a 27 X 1 1/4 inner tube.

Don't forget to get the right type of valve- Presta or Schrader.
