Chain and Spocket Lube

I been lubin chains since 70. seems like allways looking for something that is slippery, sticky to metal but not dirt. tried all the stuff at the bike shops, I know dream on, but...........
Cousin Jebber and I got given this can of BOSS 615 SYNTHETIC spary stuff as a sample fromn the oil guy I buy all my oils and stuff from.

We cleaned up the bike chains real good, did the the old melted wax thing and then ran all the loose wax off, and then..............librally sprayed some BOSS 615 on the chain and sprockets.
Its like high octain fuel, for say 50 miles and attracts very little dirt.
The shifters just snap RIGHT NOW!

I don't know if the wax did anything, but we spray a shot of the BOSS 615 on about once a week and are happy shifters. Road or dirt. Been riding with out chain being washed since spring.

Lube is like cars, everybody has a favorite, this is mine.

I think if it was an ad there would be a link to buy the product.

FWIW, the sprockets do NOT need lube on them. That only attracts crud, and that accelerates wear. When the chain travels around the sprocket, the only moving parts are the rollers of the chain rotating around the bushings/pins inside them. That's where you need lube, and it's pretty darn hard to get it there with a spray.
