Headset rust ring

I just noticed a small rust ring at the base of the carbon spacers where they contact the headset. It's an aluminum main triangle, with carbon steerer and FSA semi-integrated headset. I've not ridden this bike in the rain, and it has been stored in the house(of course!), so I suspect it's from my abnormally profuse sweating.

Is this a major problem? It's at the LBS now. Should I be looking at getting a more durable headset?

I have never seen this in any mtn. bikes, or my roadie commuter, ridden hard for years, in winter rain!

Thanks.

It's nothing but cosmetic. Wipe off the stain, apply a film of grease or wax and forget about it.

Hey, you guys were right...I had my doubt's, I feel shame and will go to the box.

Your knowledge begs a question...steel or carbon fiber?:)

Apparently there's a thin metal shim between the spacers and headset that produced a little rust...merely an appearence thing. The headset was nicely intact. Thanks.
