hayes...

This post was about the hope minis, but as you'll see in my 2nd post below i found they squeal a lot according to many people who've had them. So i changed the entire post after finding this deal on hayes. There is a closeout on hayes at jensonusa, but hayes makes a few models and being a closeout i want to know if they are an old model that wasn't very good or what.

They are 1/2 price and i want to order them before they run out, but i need to know if they are good and if they'll fit my specialized stumpjumper FSR with a manitou axcel fork as pictured below. The hayes say "74mm", and i don't know if that means they wil or will not fit my fork.

Heres the page at jenson....

And heres my fork........

I need help fast before they run out !!

Thanks.....

The Hayes WILL fit your Manitou fork w/o an apdapter, however, you will probably need the ISO adapter for the rear depending on the tabs on your frame!

Yes, i just found that out. I called them and they explained it all and said they'd throw in the adapter for the rear in case i need it, so i bought them. Case closed.....i shall not be bothering you guys anymore with these "what disc should i get" posts. (stay tuned for the "how to get my Hayes to work correctly" threads tho:D )

No prob. You've taken the good-natured ribbing like a trooper. Look forward to the new stuff.
