Manitou fork problems

i have the manitou 120 mm travel black forks after a day of riding the forks siezed up. they will barely budge i checked the lock out switch has no effect on it but it feels as if it were on. although when i turn the bike upside down and press on the forks i all the sudden get my travel and movement. ive took apart the lockout switch only to find nothing helps please help? thanks

I've heard that [cheap] Manitou forks can have problems with the damper leaking internally. Google search for Manitou Splice and you'll get lots of results.
