New fork?

New fork?
So my handle bar wouldn't stay straight. I took off the handle bar and steer has a crack in it. 
It starts from a top and going down. About an inch long. It's a carbon steerer on carbon fork. So thats it? New fork? Not sure what happened. I don't think I overtightened it. I did crash around July could that have caused it?

Yup, new fork. Presuming you like your teeth and your hands and wrists and collarbones. And your helmet too.
As to the cause of the crack, it may have been your crash if that impacted the bars and applied force to the stem. It could be adjustment b/c carbon steerers are finnicky. Discovery Channel's Trek racing bikes still all use aluminum steerers, and they're the pros who want the lightest possible bikes that are still safe.
Be really glad you caught this. And inspect other carbon parts regularly.

Can anyone recommend a good fork with a non-carbon steer? I looked in to ritchey. Both WCS and Pro have carbon steer. My range is 200-300 bucks.

CF forks with crmo or alloy steerers can be had for fairly cheap here:
