cane creek c1 headset

In a flurry of trying to get parts for an MTB build, I ordered a canecreek C1 headset. After the fact, I checked on their website and I don't even see that headset. Did I just wind up getting an older headset at a reduced price - or did I really cheese out on this part?
Any inputs on the C1 would be appreciated.

I'm not that familiar with Cane Creek's headset line, but I do know that I had a C2 on my bike about five years ago...........There seems to be an "anti-Chris King" headset contingent out there, so I'm sure I'll get criticized for saying this, but here goes: for mountain biking, where a headset surely takes more of a pounding than in road applications, cheap headsets like the Cane Creek C1, C2, whatever, suck. I got so sick of play developing in the afforementioned Cane Creek headset after every few rides I finally bit the bullet and installed a Chris King. As for why headsets like the Cane Creeks, Aheadsets, etc., etc develop play, make funny noises, I really don't know, but they do, if you're doing real mountain biking. I haven't touched the CK headset since I installed it. Chris King headsets are worth the money if you're doing real mountain biking. There, I said it-

I'm sure the CK headset is a superior piece of technology, Cane Creeks and Aheadsets work for me, but I'm not hardcore on the mountain.
I just don't like those huge logos.
