Yep, I see exactly what you mean, and that's exactly what it is doing! The chain I put on the PH10 has wider plates, and is a different brand. Awesome. Just have to swap the wheeels back, and use the chain from the PH10. Of course that leaves me having to buy another chain for the PH if I ever want to ride it.,,,,BD

Well, how the HELL do I fix this? Three chains and it's doing it on both bikes, on all chains. If I could afford a hub change, it's the thing to do I guess. Unless there's a stockpile of French chains somewhere that will work with this slotted gear POS???,,,,BD

EDIT: Much to my dismay, I finally broke down and changed the chain back to the 1985 after a good chem-tool soaking. Sprayed it lightly with a can of white lithium. (It's okay, this one can seems to not solidify for some reason, nor does it turn white. It leaves a light greasy coating instead) It works like new again. Well as close to new as a 20 yr old bike drivetrain can work. I will ride the original combo til it breaks, and then do a complete hub/cog/chainring swap. Thanks for the heads up on the grooved teeth. It was quite an eye opener. Helico matic can kiss my a**, lol.
