Look Pedals - Squeak

I am getting a squeak from the cleat / pedal on my look pedals (PP515)

Can I lube these? If so, what is the best type of lube to put on them considering the plastic cleat.

Dont know if the rain on todays ride contributed, but I figure it did.

It is definately NOT coming from the spindle, but rather where the pedal and cleat meet.

I don't know what causes it, but I know how to fix it. Take your cleat and put a little grease (anything will work fine) on the back lip of it. This should stop the squeak completely.

Moly-Slip on the cleat-pedal interface will quiet it down. It will make a dirty mess, too, but at least it won't squeak...

I heard somewhere that furniture polish "spray wax" was good for this.

Just an idea,

Cheers,

Mtn biker trick... use Pam cooking spray. Dirt, etc., doesn't stick as much as with grease, oil, etc.

Thanks for the ideas everyone!
