Nashbar torque wrench on sale
Latest Nashbar catalog has a "MIT Mechanics" 1/4" drive torque wrench on sale for $69.95, marked down from $99.95.
It is the exact same wrench you can pick up at Harbor Freight for about $20. I hope no one has been taken in.

Riding like its 1990
yeah, get the Harbor Freight. Lots of people have checked HF calibrationsand they are sometimes better than their pro quality ones.

Thanks for the tip. Not sure I will go for the torque wrench, but they have a ton of other tools and stuff for way cheap.

Hm. The title you used worked for me...the "tip" I was talking about was Harbor Freight -- I hadn't heard of them before. I picked up a grease gun for $6. It's the same as the Pedros one which goes for $25 from Nashbar...$20 "on sale", LOL.

I've always wondered. I paid $14 for what appears to be the same product from Fleet Farm. Not sure it's even worth that.

I dunno. Mine seems to work okay. The click isn't very positive, but it's better than nothing.
'nother, I wasn't replying to you, but bumping the thread to be sure others saw it.
