strength of front disc hub - dished

Contemplating going to a mechanical front disc hub, but was wondering what kind of strength loss there is by having a front wheel that is dished for the disc. I would probably use a 36h hub, just because thats the rim I have.
I like the idea of symmetrical wheels; ie flip flop ss rear hub. But I also like the mechanical disc brake in the front.
Thanks
