Re-space/ re-dish on 26" freewheel
Anybody know if the classic suicide convesion works on Mountain bike dropout spacing? Any suggestions on how it could be made to? I'd really like a low geared Fixed MTB for the winter. Thanks.

?
Of course it works. Every bike/hub is different so you gotta get your hands dirty to see how it works out. My first fixed was a suicide MTB built out of the junk wheel of a friend. I had to unlace the wheel and switch the L and R spokes because getting decent chainline required reversing the dish of the wheel. You could find yourself in the same boat which is good news if you like building wheels

Hmm, might be an excuse to buy one of those cheap truing stands at MEC. I'm not using a road hub, I'm using an MTB freewheel hub.
LóFarkas, did you replace the BB with a shorter one?
Also, in terms of wheelbuiding is this very hard to do?
