Is DA 7800 crank arm bolt compatible with R700
I have a FC-R700 compact with the plastic crank arm fixing bolt (same as the Ultegra 6600). According to the online sites, the DA and Ultegra bolts are not compatible. However, sometimes Shimano says stuff isnt compatible when it really is.
Does anyone know if the alloy crank arm fixing bolt for DA will fit properly on the Ultegra / R700 cranksets?

I am 99% sure they are not cross-compatible.
I reckon the R700 spindle has the same inner diameter as Ultegra, and I'm fairly certain that is a smaller size than you'll find on DA.
I don't have anything in front of me to verify, however. Just going from memory...
