Cost of changing out bearings?

I dont have a bearing press and I have a cartridge bearing dragging in my rear hub. I was thinking about getting some ceramic enduro bearings for $h!t$ and giggles and trying them out since they probably will need to be replaced anyways.

Any idea how much a bike shop charges to rebuild a hub with new cartridge bearings?
How about a Shimano external BB?

FYI, these are the kinds of bad ideas I come up with when it is sleeting outside and gets dark early. I cant wait for spring, when I can just ride the stupid thing everyday!

I changed my bearings out using a drift to drive them out. Then I used a socket of the appropriate size to drive them in on the outer races.

Worked perfect and took me about 10 minutes a wheel.

If you go the LBS route, it shouldn't be too much. Maybe an hours worth of labor max.
