Flight Deck Wiring to Back Wheel -- connection help please!

Sorry for the cross-post with the road forum.

I want to extend my wired flight deck to the back wheel, so i picked up a second wiring harness off ebay and was about to solder everything up this am to extend the pickup to the rear wheel. But when I snipped off the wires, I noticed that there are actually two wires connecting the magnet pickup to the wiring harness. Do i have to be careful to make sure to connect the wires to the right pair, or is it a simple loop circuit in which case it wouldn't matter?

Thanks in advance.

This just the wheel speed wire? Then you should be fine just hooking the wires, the switch is momentary on.
