How to fix carbon spokes "scratches" to prevent crack progression?

Good day again! I would like to ask anyone here with experience in doing remedies/ crack failure prevention on carbon spoke scratches in carbon wheels such as HED3 and Spinergy RevX wheelsets. Its inevitable that minute scratches appear on such wheels,..my question is how do you guys prevent it from developing to a full crack? Like can you put an epoxy resin here and there in minute amounts to "solidify" or fortify the carbon fibers or is that a no-no? What can be done to protect the wheels?

Any feedback is highly appreciated.

Cheers!

If it is a scratch in the clearcoat is all that it is, then there is no repair required. If the crack penetrates into the structural carbon, then a repair is needed. Google it and there is some information on the web. Unless you are reasonably comfortable with doing this type of work, it is best left to the pros. Sending it back to hed for a repair or crash replacement would be the best route.

I repaired my spinergy revX with some gorilla glue and epoxy. Ive been riding it hard and there is no sign of the epoxy failing or more cracks forming. Also a friend of mine took his chipped revX to some guy who has a lot of carbon fiber on his car who repairs chips often. He said the guy epoxied it and layed a carbon fiber strip over the chip then folded it over or something.

hope that helps
