Chain slippage how do I fix it

I have a 04 Kona Stinky and I am not that great at tunning it up yet. My chain every time I push down on the pedal in a high gear it slips to the next gear. I will shift it up again and once I start to ride again it slips. can some one please tell me what I need to do.

It sounds like you have some cable stretch. Check out the Park Tool website, they have some good instructions on how to adjust stuff.
