How to remove pd-m545 cage

I have shimano pd-m545 clipless pedals.
Here's how it looks like.

The problem is, the cage became a bit loose and started making noise while riding. I've read that the cage is removable, so i decided to remove it (also i would get rid of some grams too, cause i'm always riding with spd bike shoes). I managed to took apart the pedal from its axle, but then i'm stuck in removing the cage from main part.. I am unable to loosen the axle end which keeps cage with other part of pedal.. The pedal is shown in folowing picture...
My pedal

So maybe anyone have experience removing this cage or have an advice how to do it?...
