I was racing in a triathlon yesterday and for the entire ride I suffered from an incessant clicking from my bottom bracket. I made sure that my bb bolts were very tight, but the sound persisted.

Any solutions?

More info about your precise hardware please :)

Some possibilities:

Front derailleur hitting rear of crankarm
Bottom bracket cups loose
Bottom bracket might need adjustment, if it's an adjustable one (Dura Ace comes to mind here)

Pretty sure it is a Ultegra BB. (Splined and Hollow) 105 Triple cranks.

If it is indeed the BB and not a pedal/crank arm/derailleur/etc, wrap Teflon tape (the white tape used for plumbing fixtures) around the BB threads, reinstall and torque to the proper setting.

BB threads as in the cups, not the crank arm bolt threads.

One other simple one is if the tip of your front-derailleur cable hits the crankarm on every revolution.

Or, if you have an old school mountain bike with an under-the-chainstays U-brake, the brake cable end can tick or scrape against the inner chainring. Been there ... done that ... felt stupid when I diagnosed the problem after exhausting a few other possibilities ... :)
