Straightening a Bent Disk...
Bought a new bike recently and decided it was time for disk brakes. I hadnt upgraded earlier because i was worried about bending the disk in a crash.
Well, it happened.....Did an endo in a steep rocky section. Somehow got out of my pedals and managed to grade a tree. My bike on the other hand continued with several flips, boucing off rocks.
Everything is fine, except my rear disk.....its bent. I bent it back a bit by hand, enough to get home. But it still warped. Not badly, but its still rubbing the pads - definitely not rideable.
So, is there any easy way to straighten it?? I can imagine just chasing the bend around for ages, trying to get rid of it.
Thanks....
