Ritchey DS Comp Road Wheel - Veloce Compatible?
Hey, all -
Still working on outfitting the wife's Pinnarello. Looking at decent (read: cheap, but not crappy) wheels. Nashbar has these Ritchey DS Comp road wheels that, superficially, look to fit the bill. We're going with 2007 Veloce components. Anyone know if the 10 speed cassette will work on this wheel? If not, anyone have suggestions for another wheelset for $200US or less?
Thanks!
Scott

hello
Those Ritchey wheelsets are all Shimano compatible. Of course, you can run a Shimano cassette and a Jtek gizmo to work with your Veloce shifter.

Thanks, guys.
Michael, we were already looking at the Aksiums; I'll look into the others. BTW, I was at Bicycle Therapy on South yesterday. Bought myself a bike.

And hey, enjoy the new ride. I used to use Bike Therapy, but I've begun using Bicycle Revolutions on 4th Street just south of Bainbridge. Bryan, the owner, is a former mechanic at Bike Therapy, and is just super cool. I cannot recommend him highly enough for mechanic work and wheelbuilding.
ADDED: enjoy the Ventos!
