Super Link III for Campy 5.9
I am using the super link III with a Campy Record hollow pin 5.9 chain I am getting a intermitent "click" which I can feel through the pedal, anyone else experiencing this? My former 6.1 record chain and Wipperman link was perfect. Will a Wipperman link for a Shimano chain work with the 5.9 Campy chain??

Wippermann make a smaller link for the 5.9mm chains. There was a thread (which included a link to a source), about it on BF recently.

Superlinks often cause a click after a relatively small amount of use. I had one on an 8-speed Shimano chain and it started to click after about 1000 miles. Others have reported similar problems. The Conex link on my 10X1 (Campy 10-speed) Wipperman chain is quiet after 3500 miles.

I've got the superlink IV with a 5.9 chain and it clicks with my chorus drive.
I'm getting the campy link. Everytime I try to go with 3rd party solutions on campy gear I am disappointed.

Wipperman link for narrow 10 speed is double the price of old style 10 speed link and 3-4 times the price of a 9 speed link. What's up with that?? Really pisses me off.
For the record I'm using a wide Campy 10 speed link (6.2mm) on my Shimano 10 speed chain. Works fine except link hits the large chainring when using the small ring in front and the two smallest cogs in the rear (which is something I try not to do). I want to use the new narrow link but the cost puts me off since it's a clear case of extortion in my view.

Personally, the click drives me crazy and I've ordered the campy link for $20. Actually it is more than a link. It is actually 4 chain links with 2 pins. It really is worth the 20 bucks to have a perfectly operating drivetrain.
A close inspection of the campy ultra narrow chain reveals an unbelievably fine piece of workmanship, which I think is ultimately worth the price.
