How long before replacing Hubs?
When should I replace the wheel bearings,or hubs?These are Shimano R500 cup and cone ones.
They have done about 5000 miles,the front are very smooth with no wear ,but the back are a bit rougher
and the bit where the bearings sit don't look smooth.
Can the part where the bearings sit be replaced or do I have to buy the whole hub and fit the spokes
