Help with Ultegra 10sp right brifter

So I'm drafting my friend on Thursday, and for some reason he decides to stop without signaling. My right brifter ends up in between his wheels, and now it refuses to work.

In person it looks like the gearing part has separated itself in such a way that the brake lever is no longer flush with the rest of the brifter.

The brake shift lever, when turned does not engage anything and actually stays in the place it was turned to. The secondary lever also refused to catch anything.

Here's a picture of it. I really hope it's not trashed.

Edit: Don't mind the seperation at the top, its just where I removed the brake hood to get a better look at the brifter.

Though hope springs eternal, your brifter is trashed. The lack of ability to engage the ratchet mechanism to shift renders this one more crash victim. Shimano STI brifters are pretty much non-serviceable units. Check out eBay for a replacement. Shift happens ..........

Thanks man, I was afraid of that. I always knew that STI's were non-serviceable, I guess I was hoping I could "just pop it back in" or something :(
