White Lightning on dérailleur pivots, et al?
Any reason to use (or not) White Lightning chain lube on dérailleur pivots or other sliding parts?

I tried that once and it was the worst thing I did to my bike. It seemed good for the first week but then all of the parts I put it on started sticking together. It's made for chains and it would only go on your chain.

i tried white lightning (on the chain) and i wasnt that impressed. it seemed like it lasted for a few days and my chain was dry again. i dont think id use it anywhere else either.

Maybe that's what they're referring to when they advertise that it "sheds" dirt - along with itself?

White Lightning doesn't touch my bike. Prolink only now, and I haven't had to degunk my pulleys since.
